I was told there is no finacial help for ADHD / ODD/Developmental delays

My son is 7, He Has ADHD/ODD and developmental delays. He is currently in a day treatment program to help with his issues. I talked to the social worker at his school who has always been very helpful but she told me that that there is nothing financially for him and that he doesn't meet criteria, although he needs special classes and treatment.

I need all the help i could get right now. Im a single mom of 3 living paycheck to paycheck. Is this true?

Hi there
There is a form of ODSP (Ontario Disability Support Program) that is offered for children - it's called ACSD (Assistance for Children with Severe Disabilities). I know of moms who receive this monthly payment whose children have your son's ailments and nothing else so I feel certain you would qualify. The base amount is about $210 a month but for lower income families I think there's a max of about $400. Hope that helps.

Ask the Social Worker for a copy of the policies and judge for yourself.
