Funding for adult diapers?

Is there funding for the purchase of adult diapers for the elderly?

Hi Barb. Great question!

I do know that there is funding up until age 18 - and I've written about that here:

Ontario funding of diapers through Easter Seals

I haven't heard of any funding however that continues once a person reaches 18.

I'm hoping that one of the site visitors may have an answer for you.

In the meantime, I will dig as well, and update here if I find anything about adult diapers.

Thanks for asking the question!

Well ive still been fighting with the system since the last time i checked in here ive been trying to get on Chronic Disease Coverage Program and no luck there either in over a year and a half of trying. Everywhere ive been going ive been getting the run around it just seems if you have incontinence as a adult you just have to suck it up and somehow fork out the costs

Kinda wondering the same myself here, im from the yukon, i'm 23, and suffer from incontinence, I've been in a low income situation for the past few months. Ive finally ran out of my supplies that i purchased while i was still working and now things like laundry costs are starting to rise. I wouldnt mind some tips or help finding funding as ive been serching for a while with no success, and my situation is getting worse.
